Be Prepared
Whether you’re planning an exterior paint
job or interior, restoration or touch-up, preparation
is the key to a professional paint job. As you
may already know, hiring a contractor for any project
can be difficult. We would like to make your experience
with AllStar a good one, which is why we can give
you a proper sequence to hire and work with a contractor,
so that you will be as prepared as we are.
Before
the Project:
- Decide on the colors that you want
(how many, alternatives, if you want to
use a consultant), the quality of the materials
(premium,
standard,
etc.) and
design (may include trim, moldings, etc.).
- Interior Preparation: Clean all
areas and decide on how fixtures, flooring
and furniture will be handled (whether by contractor*
or client). Remove
or move small pictures and valuables.
- Exterior Preparation: Clear yard and
perimeter; arrange for grass, trees, shrubs, etc. to be covered.
During the project:
- Setup: we cover and
protect all surfaces from debris, paint,
and equipment.
- Preparation: the
areas to be painted will be fully prepared
(holes filled, rough areas
sanded, caulking, etc.) as necessary.
- Painting: will
be completed with the highest standards
of excellence, using only high-quality materials.
- Cleanup: upon project
completion, we will clean and remove all debris,
materials, and any other related
waste. All work areas will be left as
clean, if not cleaner than the state in which they were found.
After:
- Decide how all items will be
put back in their respective places (i.e. by
the contractor
or
the client?)
- Inspection is the second-to-final
step. Each surface is to be inspected
to ensure customer's satisfaction. If touch-ups
are
deemed
necessary,
they are
completed at this time.
- Payment based on original estimate made only
upon thorough inspection and client satisfaction.
*AllStar provides
a comprehensive “protection plan” (moving,
covering of yards, etc.). Your goods are as important to us as they
are to you. |
